Water & Wastewater Operator in Training, Middlemount

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Water & Wastewater Operator in Training to join Isaac Regional Councils Water & Wastewater directorate, based in Middlemount. The Water & Wastewater Operator in Training position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Operators, ensuring the efficient and effective day to day operations of the Council’s Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain Certificate III in Water Industry Operations – both Water & Wastewater streams, ‘C’ class drivers licence and Construction Blue/White card. Demonstrated experience in the operation of water and wastewater treatment plants is essential.
For this position we offer:
- Salary $56,568.68 per annum
- Subsidised Housing
- Nominally 38 hours per week
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- 12% super in accordance with policy
- Fortnightly RDO’s in accordance with Council policy
