We are looking for a fixed term full-time Ranger Compliance, based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Programme Leader Regulatory Services, this position is responsible for community education and compliance to reasonably ensure the community operates within the local laws across the Isaac Region.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- High level interpersonal and communication skills with emphasis on consultation, negotiation, influencing, conflict resolution and education;
- Proven written communication skills including the ability to draft reports, compile affidavits and take investigation notes;
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-level customer service;
- Demonstrated experience in Local Law investigation, compliance work or similar;
- High level of experience and knowledge of Microsoft suite and a broad digital/technology appreciation and competence relevant to the role;
- A ‘C’ class drivers licence.
Successful applicant will be required to travel throughout the Isaac Region which may include overnight stays in Council accommodation.
For this position we offer:
- $70,363.15 - $75,954.34 per annum, plus allowances;
- Normally 72.5 hours per fortnight;
- RDO in accordance with Council Policy;
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading (pro rata);
- 12% super (in accordance with policy);
- 3-month contract.
