The Roads and Construction team is currently seeking a Plant Operator to focus on concreting, form setting and labouring tasks across the Tableland region.
As the need arises there will be the opportunity to operate and maintain Council's truck and plant for road construction and maintenance projects
Position Requirements
The role requires evidence of current drivers licence
- The successful completion of a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment (including drug and alcohol screening) is required before any offer of employment.
- This role requires evidence of skills and qualifications and the possession of a current Drivers Licence.
- Queensland Construction White Card, or National equivalent
- Possession of MR or HR Drivers Licence
The following is mandatory however If candidates do not at the time of applying, training will be arranged on commencement
- Control Traffic with Stop – Slow Bat RIIWHS205D
The following are Desirable
- Level II Chainsaw
- First aid certificate
- Plant Operator tickets
- Traffic Management Implementation RIIWHS302D
