We are seeking a dedicated individual to work as a Children’s Crossing Supervisors at a Wallan school crossing. Duties will include using a stop sign to assist school children and other pedestrians to cross the road safely, supervising children and vehicles at children’s crossings and traffic lights during nominated hours on school days, and maintaining a high level of awareness, professional behaviour and conduct.
Suitable applicants will have a high level of awareness and an ability to judge traffic, the ability to work with children and the general public, and an understanding of relevant traffic laws. A current Working with Childrens Check is mandatory in this role, and a pre employment medical will be required.
The successful applicant will be required to obtain an employee Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
