Property Data Administrator

Glen Eira City Council is looking for a Property Data Administrator to join our Rates and Valuations team on a full time basis.
As the Property Data Administrator you will manage and maintain Councils Property, Valuation and GIS databases for all Council staff and contractors.
This role will work closely with the Rate & Valuation administrative team in providing accurate, efficient and timely administrative support including general clerical duties to the Rate and Valuations Office. This role also assists in providing expert advice and solutions to complex tasks associated with the Pathways Land Information System.
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive local government experience, preferably in a senior property related administrative role
- A good knowledge of the Valuation of Land Act 1960, the Local Government Act 1989, Australian/New Zealand Standard - Rural and urban addressing, Privacy guidelines and Land Victoria guidelines.
- Extensive knowledge in the division of and creating of new properties and assessments.
- The ability to read, understand and measure building plans.
- An excellent knowledge of the Property module of Pathways Land Information System.
- Ability to lead and manage staff in a busy office environment.
