An exciting opportunity exists for two permanent full time Diesel Fitters to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate in the Isaac Region.
Reporting to the Coordinator – Workshops, this position is responsible for the maintenance and servicing of vehicles, plant and equipment for Isaac Regional Council Workshops.
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade qualifications in mechanical engineering, and experience in light / heavy vehicle transport as well as heavy plant and equipment
- ‘C’ class drivers’ licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment functional assessment
For this position we offer:
- Salary $53,138.66 - $69,676.19 per annum plus allowances
- Nominally 38 hours per week
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- 12% super in accordance with Council policy
- RDO’s in accordance with Council policy
