Brewarrina Shire Council are recruiting 12-month term contract positions for Major Road Works along the Goodooga and Hebel Road commencing in August 2019. 

Plant Operator: Hourly Rate range B1, L3, G3, S1 = $23.47 to B1, L4, G5, S4 = $29.87
Plant Operators will be required to operate plant and equipment in a safe, effective and efficient manner and carry out a range of duties to achieve team objectives and assist with the maintenance and construction of Council’s assets and infrastructure 

Apprentice Mechanic: Hourly Rate range B1, T5, = $18.05 to B1, T7 = $23.42
Apprentice Mechanic will be required to provide support services, to the workshop including; assisting with servicing, repairs and maintenance of Council’s heavy and light plant.

Labourer: Hourly Rate range B1, L2, G1, S1 = $22.00 to B1, L2, G2, S4 = $26.14
Labourer will be required to support various work crews with the construction and maintenance of Council’s assets and infrastructure in a safe and efficient manner.

Logistics Clerk: Hourly Rate range B2, L1, G5, S1 = $25.97 to B2, L1, G5, S4 = $29.87
Will be required to support the Works Supervisors through maintenance of works records, upkeep of supply inventories, and effective site administration.

All applicants must have a Class C driver’s license and basic knowledge of WH&S principles (White Card). Demonstrate an ability to keep accurate records and work in a team environment.  (Rates will be dependent on qualifications and experience). Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017.
