Blue Mountains City Council is seeking a highly motivated person to undertake information access and related governance duties. This will involve managing requests and applications for Council-held information under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 and assisting with other relevant compliance and administrative processes. 


The successful applicant will have experience in customer service and complaint handling, advanced skills in negotiation and dispute resolution, and the ability to deal with complex and contentious matters. They will also have research and analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation. Strong time management skills are essential, as are written communication skills and the ability to prepare correspondence and reports. 


This is a permanent part time position, equating to 28 hours per week. Tuesday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (28 hours per week).  


Salary:  commencing at $2685.80 gross per fortnight (pro-rata).
