STRATEGIC PLANNER
- Permanent Full-Time - 35 Hour Week
- Total Remuneration Package $87,738.00 - $109,523.00 per annum
- Located at the Administration Building in Raymond Terrace
A unique career opportunity awaits for a Planner to join our high performing team. Our team strives to provide a high level of professional service to Council and the community with respect to the development and use of land.
You will be responsible for the provision of professional services which include:
- Customer service to stakeholders, including the elected Council, internal council officers, rate payers, residents, development industry and Government agencies.
- Planning advice to the Council, the community, land owners, development industry and other government agencies.
- Policy formulation and review, including preparation, review and amendment of draft plans, strategic input into draft Local Environmental Plans, Council's policies and procedures and project management.
What you need:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in planning or a related field
- Experience in land use planning and development
- A commitment to delivering customer and community focused services in line with strategic objectives
- Ability to think, analyse and consider the broader context to develop practical solutions
- Drive and motivation, an awareness of strengths and weaknesses, and a commitment to learning
- Demonstrated results through efficient use of resources and a commitment to quality outcomes
Total Remuneration Package Range: $87,738.00 - 109,523.00 (includes 9.5% superannuation + motor vehicle and retention allowances) + flexi-time
