Customer Service Officer
30.5 hours per fortnight. Shifts: Monday 2pm to 9pm, Wednesday 4.30pm to 9pm, Alternating Saturday 9am to 6pm. Additional shifts to cover annual leave and sick leave as required.
We are looking for a highly motivated and positive individual to join the Customer Service team at the Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre.
Our Customer Service Officers are the heart of our business and are responsible for delivering first class services to our customers. The role provides important services such as reception and sales to our members, casual users and potential new members in accordance with our established operational routines and procedures. The successful candidate will ensure team policies and the organisations Code of Conduct are followed at all times.
Skills and Attributes
Substantial experience within a diverse customer service environment, preferably within the recreation industry.
Provide excellent customer service to all customers, both in person and over the telephone
Ability to interpret operational data and take immediate remedial action.
Apply sound cash handling skills and use of computer programs and Point of Sale (POS) systems
Provide customers inquiring about memberships and programs with accurate information
Promote the centres services and programs to customers and accept customer bookings and enrolments
Develop and maintain good working relations with customers
Demonstrated ability to monitor adherence to health and safety policies and procedures within a team environment
Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
