Customer Service Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Officer with excellent customer service and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task in a busy environment to be an integral part of the Customer Experience Team.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient responses to any requests, enquiries and or complaints lodged by customers contacting the customer service team
- Provision of accurate, timely information and advice that is consistent with customer service practices and procedures and Council’s service standards
- Daily receipting and cashiering duties, and assistance with and where required, with correct referral of account enquiries.
- Assisting customers with applications, registrations and other documentation.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience working within a multi-skilled, high volume, customer driven environment and demonstrated experience and aptitude in dealing with members of the public.
- Demonstrated team player.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge in the principles and practices of providing quality customer service.
- Ability to manage and deal efficiently and effectively with complex and time consuming customer complaints/enquiries.
This is a permanent full-time Band 4 position.
