Project Youth Worker
- Permanent Part-time - 22.8 hours per week.
- Band 5 ($70,027-$80,120 prorata) plus 9.5% Super

Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. Maribyrnong is becoming a sought after residential area and a destination for foodies.
An opportunity exists for a tertiary qualified and highly experienced Project Youth Worker to join our Youth Services Team to deliver projects and programs which address the identified needs of young people within the municipality of Maribyrnong.
The successful applicant will demonstrate high quality youth and community development skills and experience; the capacity to engage with and build strong relationships with a diverse range of young people to enhance their status and wellbeing within the City of Maribyrnong; and the ability to develop, facilitate and coordinate a flexible and creative range of youth and community led projects. Experience in local government is highly desirable.
