Maribyrnong City Council is undergoing significant change in population growth, redevelopment, and a transitioning economy is leading to an influx of new residents, businesses and opportunities. Maribyrnong is becoming a sought after residential area and a destination for foodies.
An exciting opportunity exists for an energetic and committed design and planning professional to join Maribyrnong's City Places Department as the Open Space Planner.
You will play a key role in implementing the City's Open Space Strategy, working towards the provision of new open space in creative ways, leading master planning projects and contributing to high quality and diverse open space environments.
The Open Space Planner will join our highly experienced design team responsible for the urban design, active transport and open space functions of Council. You will work closely with the Strategic Planning team and other departments to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
