About the Role

This is an exciting role which will see you work with a large mixture of technologies and infrastructure, driving the change of delivery the City of Port Phillip Council’s Cloud first strategy. You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance, support and continuous improvement of the Councils Infrastructure including; network, telephony and cloud computing, virtualisation software (VMware) and services, firewalls, servers, storage, to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).


You will also ensure effective use of cloud computing technology in City of Port Phillip and recommend improvement changes.


About You

You are an experienced Systems Administrator and team player who is dedicated and proactive who is looking to work as part of an inclusive team to drive system improvements and contribute to driving a Cloud First approach. You have a proven track record in providing specialist support and technical advice in relation to virtualisation software (VMware) and services, firewalls, cloud computing, network and telephony, servers and storage.
