Seeking an Engineer (Civil) with supervision and guidance from senior engineering staff, you will project manage the delivery of road infrastructure projects through the administration of contracts and provision of technical expertise and support to the design, construction and maintenance processes.

In the role of Engineer (Civil), with supervision and guidance from senior engineering staff,

• you will project manage the delivery of road infrastructure projects through the administration of contracts and provision of technical expertise and support to the design, construction and maintenance processes.

• In doing this you will ensure effective coordination of key operational activities and resources associated with project management and process development.

Accountabilities include:

• Provide advice on the risk context profiling of projects in accordance with established policies.

• Provide advice on the risk management of projects as stipulated by the DTMR Risk Management Framework.

• Collaborate with project management team on the review and revision of project risk registers.

• Facilitate risk workshops for project management teams.

• Apply risk register audits and reporting for the effective project management of risk.

• Develop excel-based risk instrumentation in accordance with identified program management and delivery requirements.

• Analyse project risk-related data in order to assist in the development of innovative risk strategies.

• Initiate and maintain relationships with project managers and their personnel throughout the districts'.

 

This position reports to the Manager (Risk) and has 0 direct reports.

 

Mandatory requirements:

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification which is accepted by Engineers Australia is a requirement of this position.
