Salary: Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award. This position is placed in Grade 8 of the new Cumberland salary structure with a salary range of $1,141.58 to $1,312.82 per week plus superannuation. Commencement salary will depend upon qualifications, experience and competencies. Council is willing to pay for all training, renewal of teacher accreditation and WWCCC fees.


Conditions of Employment:  This is a fixed-term full-time position based on 9 day, 70 hour fortnight, rostered hours between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday working 7.75 hours per day. You may be required to work across any one of Council's 17 children's services centres in the Cumberland Local Government Area. You may also be required to attend training, educator events and staff meetings outside of your normal working hours.  All final applicants for this position will be asked to consent to a criminal record check.
