The Opportunity

This graduate position will see you stepping into your Engineering career working alongside a team of knowledgeable professionals within the Traffic & Transport space.


You will be responsible for investigating and responding to traffic engineering, transportation and parking requests, in addition to providing safe, useful and sustainable solutions.


Reporting to the Senior Traffic and Transport Engineer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Assessing development proposals
  • Providing expert advice to internal and external stakeholders
  • Investigating requests, making recommendations and providing reports on traffic engineering, transport, transport planning, road safety and parking issues
  • Assisting in the provision of appropriate parking controls and traffic engineering devices
  • Maintaining traffic, transport, road safety and parking request records


About You

To be considered for this position, you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or Town/Urban Planning or related discipline that confer eligibility for membership to the Institute of Engineers (Australia); with little to no experience
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS and MS Office software applications
  • Knowledge in Transport Engineering
  • Skills in managing time, including setting priorities, planning and organising work to complete assigned tasks, in accordance with specified guidelines and within set timeframes
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
