Positive Ageing Officer
Are you passionate about improving the health and wellbeing outcomes of older people? Then this position may be for you!
As the Positive Ageing Officer you will be responsible for supporting and implementing positive ageing initiatives along with delegated initiatives outlined in the Community Plan, Public Health and Wellbeing Plan and other relevant Council Plans and Strategies. You will also support the implementation of the Victorian Seniors Festival in Greater Bendigo and other positive ageing events.
The successful applicant will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills together with the demonstrated ability to write quality reports, prepare external correspondence and the ability to develop and maintain quality partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
A Degree or Diploma qualification with relevant experience in working with older people, social policy, health and community services, community development or similar discipline is essential to your success in this role.
