The focus of this position is to provide friendly and efficient frontline support and assistance to library customers and staff in the use of technology. It will also be involved in the development and delivery of training programs and workshops for library customers, assisting in activating the new library Creative Space, and testing software enhancements, upgrades and developments.
The successful applicant will possess a Diploma of Library and Information Services (or similar) and considerable experience with a wide range of computer hardware, software and online applications. Candidates should have a good understanding of public library services, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
