Community Facilities Administration Officer


  • Temporary Fulltime Opportunity- 12 months

This role is responsible in coordinating the bookings of community facilities (halls and centres) and to provide accurate information and resolve customer enquiries and issues.


On offer is a 12 month temporary, full time position (35 hours per week) with all the benefits of a full time employee.


This role rotates through 3 locations, including Bankstown and Campsie Customer Service Centres and the newly established Riverwood Community Hub.  As such the ability to prioritise workloads and work somewhat autonomously is required.


Critical to success in this role is the ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders as well as the Community groups and other hirers who will utilise the Centre on a regular and a casual basis.


Essential Criteria includes:

  • Demonstrated capacity to deliver a community facilities booking service.

  • Experience in a Customer Service role.

  • An understanding of community organisations and facilities.

  • Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office programs.

  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required.
