TSN Stormwater - Team Leader

About the Role

This position is responsible for leading and supervising maintenance activities across Council’s stormwater network, including culverts, footpaths, jetties, stormwater and similar works. As this is a Team Leader role you shall also be required to foster good team work and high staff morale within the team.

 
About You

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Significant experience in onsite supervision of field staff and contractors including knowledge of WHS responsibilities;
• Hands on experience in stormwater maintenance or construction activities;
• A class MR drivers licence;
• The ability to set out works from civil infrastructure plans and hold an RMS qualification to implement Traffic Plans.
• The flexibility to participate in an after-hours on call roster.

A certificate in Civil Engineering and/or experience in developing and implementing work schedules and programs and/or a HR drivers licence is desirable but not essential.

 
Remuneration

This is a full time, permanent role, with remuneration in the range of $57,848 - $65,093 per annum (depending on skills and experience) for a 38 hour week plus 9.5% superannuation. A motor vehicle arrangement for to and from work access will also be available to the successful candidate.
