An exciting opportunity presents itself for a motivated and innovative manager to lead South West Victoria’s premier indoor community leisure centre.
AquaZone is Warrnambool’s indoor aquatic and leisure centre which provides equitable and affordable access to a wide range of aquatic and fitness activities that aim to enhance participation and promote social connection and inclusion. AquaZone has a range of facilities including indoor and outdoor heated pools, a large gymnasium, a program room, spin bike studio and crèche, and also offers a wide range of aquatics and health and fitness programs.
The Service Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership and management to ensure effective planning, development and delivery of high quality, sustainable client and community focused programs and activities.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated senior experience in the management of public community recreation facilities, knowledge and experience in the technical aspects of aquatic centre management, a high level of understanding of human, financial and physical resource management, and tertiary qualifications in recreation and/or community facility management.
