Work Experience Application
Thank you for your interest in undertaking work experience with Georges River Council.
Our work experience program provides students with an unpaid opportunity to gain on-the-job experience and an insight into varied departments and professions encountered within our local government environment.
Work experience placements are available throughout the year and are offered based on your details provided within your application. Consideration with placements is made on the area of interest, duration and dates required and whether the work area can provide an effective on-the-job experience.
Due to the high volumes of requests received for placement the number and timing of placements we are not able to accept all placements. We contact you as soon as possible to confirm whether a placement can be accommodated based on you application.
