Senior Spatial IT Business Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Spatial IT Business Analyst to take a lead role in shaping the direction of GIS in Council and contribute to the success of Council's Digital Transformation journey.
Key responsibilities will include:

Lead, develop and promote the GIS function as a business analytics and enablement platform for Council.

Partner with the business and provide specialist advice and solutions to enable effective and efficient delivery of business outcomes.

Administration of the corporate GIS platform.

Responsible for the field mobility function of Council.

Manage Council's responsibility in relation to the maintenance of Land Information System data.

Lead Spatial IT business analyst activities to support the delivery of key projects that will contribute to the success of Council Digital Transformation journey.
To be successful in this role you will have:
-
Tertiary qualifications in GIS or a related discipline.

Extensive experience in the use of GIS and associated software and hardware.

Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to devise solutions to enable business outcomes.

Experience in report generation utilising reporting services / business intelligence or other reporting tools.

Ability to absorb complex information and communicates effectively at all levels to technical and non-technical audiences.

Demonstrated ability to effectively work and collaborate in a team environment.
This is a permanent full-time Band 7 position.
