Council is looking for an energetic and visionary Manager to lead Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre - the premier live performance venue in South West Victoria.
The venue includes a fully equipped proscenium arch theatre (584 seats) and an intimate studio space (140 seats), as well as a bar, function and meeting room spaces. The Theatre presents range of programs including a theatre season, morning music and education programs, as well as operating as a venue for commercial and community hire.
As well as overall responsibility for venue operations, programming, marketing and management, the successful candidate will take the lead in charting the future direction for the venue, investigating and implementing new and innovative ideas to deliver exciting and quality performance experiences and opportunities for the local community.
The position offers an exciting and unique opportunity for a leader with performing arts experience, entrepreneurial flair, and strong management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
