Planning Coordinator

- Band 7 ($92,185 - $103,040)
- Plus 9.5% Superannuation
West Wimmera Shire Council is seeking a committed, resourceful and self-motivated professional to be part of the Infrastructure Development and Works (IDW) Team. The successful applicant will contribute to delivering high quality development approvals, in accordance with our Council Strategy and the Council’s Planning Scheme.
You will have relevant qualifications and experience in statutory planning, including an excellent understanding of the Planning and Environment Act 1987, Subdivision Act 1988 and Victorian Planning Provisions with a strong appreciation of strategic objectives and the link to planning controls.
Reporting directly to the Director IDW, the role is responsible for the day to day management of Council’s Planning functions.
Provision of quality customer service and contributing to procedures review and service delivery improvements are fundamental to the role.
