About the Role

Based at Council’s Civic Centre Moss Vale, the Chief Financial Officer will be the pivotal role in visioning leadership to high performing teams and demonstrate the ability to achieve positive results and customer service for the Branch.


Salary for this position is an attractive salary package up to $169k per annum + 9.5% super and leaseback vehicle based on skills, experience and qualifications.


About You

In addition to holding tertiary qualifications relevant to the discipline of work, you will be able to demonstrate experience in:

  • Financial management in a senior Managerial position.
  • Applying exceptional business acumen, resulting in innovative solutions to suit business needs and emerging trends.
  • Building a culture of high achievement through proactive leadership within the team and fostering high-quality outcomes.
  • Building professional relations as an influencer in shaping Executive management decision making.
  • Strategic investigation/analysis, reporting and excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Implementation of guidelines, policies and procedures in accordance with the relevant legislation and professional standards.
  • Displaying a can-do attitude, be progressive and have strong communication skills.
