The Ecologist role at Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is a dynamic role that will provide expert ecological advice to Council on a range of issues to assist with strategic land-use planning and development assessments, as well as delivering a range of programs that directly benefit the LGA’s biodiversity.

This is a full time, permanent role, with remuneration in the range of $82,251 - $92,581 per annum (depending on skills and experience), plus 9.5% superannuation. The role is 35 hour a week, with access to Council’s Flexible Working Hours policy.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is located on the mid north coast of NSW and is one of Australia’s fastest growing regions.
