Delivering essential services to the community and region, our team manages the operations and maintenance of water networks and assets.  SA Water’s Customer Field Services team is looking to appoint a Construction & Maintenance Worker located in Crystal Brook.

About your new role

This role is responsible for undertaking field-based preventative and corrective maintenance, along with responding to emergencies and reported faults in an efficient and professional manner. Working in the great outdoors, getting your hands dirty and interacting with our customers through better ways of using technology, will support quality outcomes. Critical to this role is the focus on ensuring WHS, environmental and water quality obligations are achieved. 

To succeed in this opportunity all you need is;

  • a strong, proven work ethic
  • enjoy talking with customers and delivering outcomes
  • proven safety awareness, putting safety above all else
  • a driver’s license (essential), HR or HC – highly desirable
  • Work Zone Traffic Management Certificate
  • mobile plant licenses (backhoe, excavator) are highly desirable
  • skill in the use of hand and power tools.

 The right candidate will be trained and up-skilled to obtain a construction industry white card.

This full-time role operates 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week, with a rostered on-call component with associated overtime, offering a favourable salary and an array of career and training opportunities.  Further information can be identified in the PD Construction and Maintenance Worker PD.pdf
