IM+T Business Support are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Business Partner to join our team and drive our strategic partnering capability. We need great communicators who will seamlessly fit into our team and work to form trusted partner relationships with IM+T’s stakeholders.


What your day as a Business Partner in IM+T could look like:

  • Working with your business stakeholders to understand who they are and what they do;
  • Travelling to different Council offices and buildings to meet with staff & stakeholders;
  • Identify & capture gaps in business services, process or capability where technology or data could assist;
  • Guiding business teams through the process for new capability requests (our new ideas process);
  • Working closely with the Project Services & delivery teams on projects that are being delivered for your portfolio;
  • Managing the expectations of your stakeholders.

About You:

  • You have a passion for business engagement!
  • You have previous experience in an IT environment and broadly understand technology & data services;
  • You know how to communicate with all levels of an organisation and manage expectations;
  • You value honesty, openness and integrity and build relationships based on them;
  • You know how to delve into a problem and truly understand what the issue is;
  • When you encounter a problem you call it out and work with the necessary people to resolve it – we are one team;
  • You're comfortable interacting with people across all levels of the organisation and can handle yourself during challenging situations;
  • You're self-driven and want to make a difference;
  • You see the bigger picture and are able to take others on the journey to see it too.

Salary: This position offers a salary range between $1,405.25 to $1,686.65 per week ($73,269 to $87,941 per annum) + superannuation.
