Our innovative IT Strategy and Architecture team are responsible for maintaining and updating the information systems, technology standards and strategies that comprise the supported applications and computing equipment used by SA Water. Being a modern and driven team, we are also involved in capital project conceptual design and technology governance.

Based in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, this opportunity will appeal to a highly competent and engaging leader who will build and manage our proactive IT Strategy and Architecture team. Developing technology acumen within the business and delivering architectural governance while growing digital capability to deliver business and customer outcomes is critical in this role.

• Lead and deliver strategy, services and overarching solution assurances to technical projects
• Define and guide future strategy and road-maps to meet business needs
• Develop business plans to achieve strategic priorities and performance goals
• Maintain the architectural standards and guidelines and audit architectural deliverables
• Provide clarity on IT governance
• Manage stakeholder expectations

What you need to be successful:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or Computer Science
• Substantial professional experience in IT-related roles
• Delivery of technical strategies and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Experience in all aspects of SDLC requirements 
• Passion for leading and supporting a technical team 
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
