Team Member
Liverpool City Council is experiencing major growth and with these new positions you will be part of a proactive team, providing a high level of service for the community of Liverpool in the construction and maintenance of major infrastructure.
The positions will involve working in teams from two to six members carrying out the day to day operations as directed by the Coordinator of Maintenance Delivery. Work will include concrete, asphalt and or drainage associated works along with general civil maintenance of street furniture, footpaths, roads and reserves. Demonstrated experience in the operation of an excavator would be an advantage.
You will be required to have experience in both the construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths/cycle ways and drainage infrastructure. You will be required to place and finish concrete with the ability to assess safety situations and take appropriate action. As a minimum a MR licence is essential with experience in operating and maintaining plant / equipment associated with civil construction.
Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
