What you need to know...
- permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
- salary - $62,281 - $74,272 per annum, plus superannuation
- a 9 day fortnight
- location - Grafton
- the opportunity to accrue time in lieu
- the opportunity to 'purchase' leave
About the role
As the Maintenance Technical Officer you will:
- Through other supervisors direct and coordinate operational staff in the delivery of high quality services ensuring effective and efficient methodology, quality standards, procedures and documentation, including asset maintenance and construction activities.
- Undertake investigations for Council works and matters of public complaint and request.
- Provide timely, accurate and succinct information on Council issues.
- Ensure that the staff supervised by the position comply with all WHS policies and procedures.

- Be able to think innovately to provide maintenance solutions
- Have good communication & negotiation skills
- Work as part of a team environment

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
