The Road Maintenance Worker assists their team to maintain the City's sealed road network assets through undertaking road maintenance activities including asphalting, chip sealing and edge patching.
Key accountabilities:
General operation of plant and hand tools, carry out maintenance and/or labour duties as required;
Operate plant and hand tools in a competent and safe manner including excavators, bobcats, forklifts, skid steer and other machinery;
Ensure that regular routine daily maintenance is carried out and that relevant log books and pre-starts are completed.

Position requirements:
The successful applicant will require an MR licence and have experience in the safe use of plant and equipment associated with road maintenance, including loaders, excavators and forklifts.
Completion of a pre-employment medical including alcohol and other substances testing is required of all positions at the City.
Remuneration and benefits:
A salary starting from $54,588 per annum or $27.6253 per hour will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications.
