In this part time position you will be responsible for providing effective early years education and care that encourages positive learning outcomes and meets Council’s objective of making the Central Coast a place of continual learning. You will work with our Educators to develop and implement customised educational programs to meet the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) learning outcomes and incorporate the individual needs and interests of the children.
You will be dedicated to the provision of quality care and education to children and their families, energetic, innovative and enjoy teamwork, along with a high attention to detail in regards to documentation.
Shifts will be rostered between 7.00am and 6.00pm on Thursday and Friday each week for the duration of the contract.
Key activities of this role include:
Plan, coordinate, implement and evaluate an early childhood learning programme that encourages children and families to value lifelong learning;
Develop, implement and evaluate customised education programs that meet the individual needs and interests of children and the learning outcomes of the EYLF;
Assist the Centre Director in the day to day management of the centre, including (when designated) the functions of Responsible Person;
Keep staff and families well informed of individual children’s development needs and provide support, advice and guidance where needed.

This role provides a salary range of between $33.67 to $40.40 per hour ($471.38 to $565.60 per week based on 14 hours) + superannuation.
Applicants must be willing to undertake a course of vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus or demonstrate their immunity and will be required to undertake CMV screening.
