Finance and Performance; Passenger Transport Integration; Translink; Brisbane In the role of Manager (Business Analysis) you will manage and analyse revenue and operational service payments for Regional Queensland Urban Bus, Ferry and STAS (School Transport Assistance Scheme) contracts and provide high level advisory and financial support services across a large portfolio of public transport contracts to support TMR's strategic objective to provide a single integrated transport network accessible to everyone. Accountabilities include: • Management and leadership of the Business Analysis team to provide effective overall management of business and financial analysis processes relating to passenger transport services in Queensland. • Develop, implement, review and proactively monitor financial internal controls for contract payments to ensure compliance with financial, reporting and legislative standards. • Apply high level operational knowledge of current Queensland Government financial management frameworks, guidelines, standards and practices to a range of Divisional financial requirements including budget development and management, and implementation of periodic fare adjustments. • Provide monthly reporting analysis and advice on financial performance to assist decision-making, and proactively develop and maintain appropriate reporting systems, policies, procedures and guidelines to facilitate effective performance, financial and resource management. • Financial analysis of passenger transport delivery partner proposals regarding service changes, operator performance and indexation methodologies. • Ongoing review of the overall performance of the contract portfolios to ensure that financial expectations are met. • Develop and maintain working relationships with Contract Management, Regional Operations, Divisional Finance team and other stakeholders. • Partner with key stakeholders to deliver strategic projects covering topics such as contract negotiations, streamlining and automation of contract administration and payment processes. • Provide estimates of the financial impact of changes to passenger transport fares concession policy. • Provide authoritative advice regarding policies, operational procedures, audit requirements, professional and ethical standards and on a range of contract funding issues. This role reports to the Director (Fare Revenue & Contracts) and has 2 direct reports and additional temporary staff as required Applications to remain current for 12 months.
