The Role

The Town of Port Hedland is currently seeking creative and motivated individuals to assist in delivering a diverse and innovative range of community and cultural projects, programs and events at our JD Hardie Youth Zone.


This is an open casual recruitment pool. The panel will regularly monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess any applications received on a regular basis from which appointments may be made when casual vacancies arise.

Your Experience

  • Demonstrated good customer services and interpersonal skills
  • Very good verbal and written communications skills
  • Good computer literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

This position is not eligible for subsidised housing or housing allowance. Prospective applicants should make themselves aware of the accommodation situation in Port Hedland prior to submitting an application.


Work Related Requirements

As this position will involve contact with children, the preferred applicant will be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card, as well as complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role.
