The Finance Program will ensure public resources and assets fund long term financially sustainable outcomes while maximising opportunities through responsible risk management. 

The Commercial Program will effectively lead and develop the City Businesses, ensuring the provision of high quality services to customers in accordance with community expectations, whilst maximising the profitable returns to Council. 

About the Opportunity 
As part of the Finance Program, as well as supporting the Commercial Program, the Program Administration Assistant will ensure the provision of timely confidential administrative support and related services to the Associate Director Finance, the Associate Director Commercial, and the Finance and Commercial Programs. 

About You 
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

  • Experience in providing a broad range of administrative and related clerical services at an advanced level and with high levels of accuracy.
  • Experience in writing and formatting reports in line with Council requirements.
  • Knowledge of general Finance practices and trends in the fields of Finance, Procurement, and Commercial Businesses.
