1 x Permanent Full Time - 35 hours, 5 days per week

Location: 33 Moore Street, Liverpool

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated professional committed to business excellence and innovation in service delivery. You will be a key member of Council’s Community Standards team undertaking compliance functions with high level of customer and solutions focus. This is a challenging and rewarding position within Council’s organisational structure.


The successful applicant will have:

  • A Degree, Graduate Diploma or Diploma in Building, Engineering, Construction field or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in building and development compliance, and dealing with unauthorised building work.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Local Government Act 1993 and other local government related and regulatory legislation
  • Council provides funding for annual renewal of Accreditation and Continuing Professional Development for this position.


Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
