About us

Knowledge Information and Technology Services (KITS) provides a range of Information Technology (IT) services for the Department of Justice and Regulation (DJR). The branch sets the strategic direction of ICT in alignment with the business direction. KITS is responsible for IT strategies, implementation of initiatives, architectures, policies, projects, line of business applications and infrastructure services in a multi-sourced environment.

The Enterprise Architecture Group within KITS is responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance and implementation of Enterprise Architecture roadmaps for the department. The Practice Management team forms part of the Enterprise Architecture Group.

About the role

The Practice Management Analyst identifies functional performance trends across KITS, develops and implements improvements designed to improve capabilities and deliver increased value, and undertakes assurance and quality activities.  Your main responsibilities will also include:

  • collecting analysing data to develop reports
  • performing quality assurance activities including review of documents and online content
  • providing well informed advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative options to contribute to the transformation of practices and processes across KITS.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to demonstrate:

  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • experience in collating and analysing data to identify trends and develop reports
  • experience in analysing processes and identifying improvements to drive value.

Relevant experience in reporting, process improvement and government is desirable.
