About the Opportunity

The Financial Services Unit is looking for a self-motivated Revenue Officer to join the team. Reporting to the Team Leader Revenue, you will provide a high level of customer service to Councils rates and sundry debtor customers while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the unit databases.

 

About You

 Your ability to build relationships with customers and team members will assist you in being successful in this role. You will be a team player and work with the Financial Services unit to achieve goals and take on challenging tasks. Your excellent communication skills, ability to efficiently respond to customer requests, build relationships with both customers and staff and be able to work with minimal supervision will also assist you in being successful in this role.

 

Essential Qualifications, Experience and Key Capability:

  • School Certificate minimum (HSC preferred)

  • Experience in general office administration or customer service

  • Proven experience in high volume data entry with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent computer skills

  • Strong maths / accounting capability

  • Working knowledge of debt and legal recover procedures

This is a Permanent Full Time position working 35 hours per week, 19 day month flexitime arrangement available.
