The Role

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of procurement plans and activities to support the ongoing delivery of works for waterways and land activities.

This is a 6 month fixed term opportunity in the South East.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in coordinating tenders, contracts or contractor management.
  • High level of attention to detail and business acumen.
  • Strong communication and conflict management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and high level of customer service when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand and comply with procurement policies, guidelines and internal control procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and contribute in a team environment to improve processes, respond to various demands and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor approval processes and tender administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of procurement systems (e.g. Technology One).

Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required.
