Reporting to the Team Leader, Civil and Transport Assets, the Senior Stormwater Engineer will provide strategic and technical leadership with a future focus for the City’s Stormwater Management infrastructure and will develop and manage Council’s Drainage Asset Management plans.

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related field, combined with your previous experience and understanding of civil, transport and drainage engineering will be essential to provide strategic engineering advice on developments across the City. Your advanced interpersonal skills will be highly regarded in this role, as well as experience in Asset Management Planning and the implementation of annual capital works programs.  You will also liaise with local, state and federal government bodies, public utilities service authorities and developers on all aspects of stormwater managment.

Applicants will possess the ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively across all levels of staff within Council.
