The role of Roller Operator is to provide a high level of service in the operation of plant and machinery in the construction and maintenance of Council's infrastructure in the areas of roads, drainage and quarries. 

We are seeking someone who has:

  • Minimum one year experience in operation of roller(s) in a similar work environment
  • Competence in the use and maintenance of small plant and hand tools
  • Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)
  • Current Class MR Driver Licence
  • Current RMS approved certificate for Traffic Controller
  • Competent numeracy and literacy skills with proven ability to understand and apply safety and work related procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to work health and safety, equal employment opportunity and cultural diversity principles
  • Demonstrated conduct aligned with Council’s corporate behaviours supporting our values
