About the role:
 
You will manage the end to end process of training coordination for professional, high risk and any job related training programs or development opportunities, whilst maintaining the structure/integrity & compliance of all training records and associated documentation.
 
What the role will offer:

  • Acting as the conduit for all training and development related enquiries from key stakeholder groups
  • Using the internal booking system to market courses effectively
  • Assisting in the maintenance and review of procedure, process, guidelines and associated training documentation
  • Auditing and reviewing course data held in all training systems.
  • Effectively utilising all system tools to produce reports for demand planning of  training and compliance metrics
  • Coordinating workloads and communication flow with external training providers and coordinate unplanned work effectively to manage capacity on-the-ground efficiently and negate risk
  • Facilitating ‘training needs’ planning discussions and actions to ensure training completion rates are managed effectively and prioritised
  • Managing customer’s budget effectively and sourcing the best value development intervention for the customer
  • Produce a ‘Demand Plan’ for use in the normal planning cycle and apply prioritisation based on risk mitigation
  • Coordinating training logistics where required such as scheduling attendees, event creation, date, time, location, cost, catering, resulting and notifications

 

Key skills and experience:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or considerable experience in coordinating training across a diverse organisation, comprehensive experience in using training related systems such as a Learning Management System (LMS) and Procurement system or related system/s, where transfer of skills can be initiated)..
  • Effective skills in the administration of training
  • Advanced use of Excel
  • Demonstrated  ability to coordinate a complex and diverse training function
  • Understanding of Australia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) System (Desirable)
  • Experience working in regional areas of the State is advantageous
