This position will provide administrative support to the Road Policing Drug and Alcohol Section and is primarily involved with the administrative processing and case management support of forensic samples taken in relation to drink and drug driving.

Your duties will include:

  • Reporting to the Unit Manager;
  • Receiving, administering and transporting blood and oral fluid forensic samples.
  • Processing the daily returns and reports from the Section's operational units.
  • Capturing statistical data and case management information and notes.
  • Supporting the logistics and distribution of alcohol and drug testing consumables.

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Good accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated customer service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and with minimal supervision.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
  • Due to the nature of work for this role, it is required that you are vaccinated against Hepatitis B or vaccination in progress prior to commencement.
