Burwood is in the midst of significant growth requiring a strategically balanced plan of residential, business, retail and community services.

Key responsibilities of this Senior Executive role will include the efficient and effective direction of all engineering, planning, environmental, compliance and operations areas.

We are looking for an experienced, high energy, self-motivated and confident professional to fill this role and who will support the General Manager in delivering the Council’s vision for the future 
of Burwood.

Candidates will have exceptional communication skills, ability to work with a wide range of 
external stakeholders and possess astute political judgement. Accountability in decision making is critical for success in this role.

In Mid-2019, Council will be relocating to a new and modern ‘green’ office space, adjacent to our Library and
Community Hub.
