The Role

Our Human Resources Unit deliver a number of essential employee related services to the entire organisation. The unit partners and connects with our people to provide valuable advice, services and solutions that contribute the organisations success.

An opportunity has become available for a dedicated and experienced Leader to lead the Human Resources Unit as Manager Human Resources.

This position will lead by example and ensure that the unit is provided with a high level of direction, leadership and accountability.


Some of your duties will include:

  • Lead multi - disciplinary teams spanning across Human resources, Talent Management and Payroll
  • Provide clear direction and action on agreed plans to enable organisation alignment, and a focus on the achievement of goals.
  • Provide advice and education on employment relations, award interpretation, HR policy and practice.
  • Lead and project manage the implementation of a new salary system and improvements to the payroll system.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve systems and processes.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration and values through decisions and exemplary behaviour.

Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience within Human Resources.
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Experience and knowledge across the Human Resources function
  • Demonstrated skills in developing and effectively managing a budget.
  • Experience interpreting Industrial Relations legislation and awards
  • Experience in developing and  maintaining positive relationships with Key stake holders
