An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Property & Buildings Division to provide professional and efficient management of Council’s property portfolio. We are seeking an experienced property professional to join this team and undertake interesting projects including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, licensing, permits, easements, encroachments, road openings/closures and Community Land revocations, managing policy matters and undertaking strategic projects as directed

Reporting to the Coordinator Property, we are looking for a person who is super organised, solution focussed and good at dealing with a wide range of stakeholders to provide leadership and a professional, efficient property management service for Council.

This role offers the reward and challenges of dealing with people at all levels, requiring initiative and innovative thinking.  It is imperative that you demonstrate a high level of negotiation skills, conflict resolution, analytical and conceptual problem solving and time management skills. You will also have highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Previous property experience is essential and exposure to local government would be advantageous.  Formal qualifications in the relevant discipline will be highly regarded.
