About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Coal Creek Interpretative Guide and Demonstrator who can deliver an educative, informative and experience at Coal Creek Community Park and Museum.  The successful candidate will be a team player who is passionate about educating our visitors about the cultural heritage of our area.

  • Casual with an availability to work 7 days a week;
  • $27.77 per hour plus 25% casual loading;
  • Located at Coal Creek Community Park and Museum, Korumburra.

We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional levels of visitor service, great public speaking skills, passion for the outdoors and the ability to pass on our history verbally and through demonstrations.  The successful candidate will have the ability to follow curriculum based lesson plans and interpret history through written scripts.  They will also be able to accommodate the learning needs of students and adults whilst observing and managing groups through pre-planned timetables.  A background in education, tourism, museums or theatrical experience would be advantageous.
